Overholt to leverage start-up experience as
new Chief Financial Officer for fast-growing telecommunications company
Boulder, Colo. June 24, 2008 – Aztek Networks (www.azteknetworks.com), the leader in Emergency Stand Alone (ESA) equipment for enabling network switch collapse, today announced the appointment of Daryl Overholt as Chief Financial Officer. Overholt replaces Carl Maneri who announced his retirement earlier this year.
As CFO, Overholt brings more than 16 years of financial experience with venture-backed companies. Prior to joining Aztek, he spent five years with Sequel Venture Partners, an early stage venture capital firm specializing in technology and healthcare businesses. Prior to that, he spent 11 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers serving in various financial roles for a variety of venture-backed hardware and software companies.
“Daryl’s experience in senior-level finance positions and heavy involvement in early start-up companies will be extremely valuable to Aztek as we continue to experience accelerated growth,” said Steven Bruny, CEO of Aztek Networks. “Aztek is well-poised with its current executive team in place to continue its success in ensuring public safety as well as helping telecom providers upgrade and streamline their networks with our industry-leading ESA technology.”
